quail run Venue

Moundville, Alabama · 20 minutes from Tuscaloosa

Eighty acres, and the keys until Sunday.

Come up the drive and the world goes quiet. Quail Run is a peaceful place: a two-story event house on private land, with bedrooms upstairs. Most venues rent you eight hours. Quail Run can give you the whole weekend.

80 Private acres
125 Guest capacity
2 Bedrooms & a bunk room
48 Hour weekend option

The difference

You are not renting a room. You are staying at the place.

The upstairs of the event house is a home: a large den, a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a bunk room. Book the Grand Package and you have it from Friday morning until Sunday morning.

That changes the shape of a wedding. The bridal luncheon happens here. The rehearsal dinner happens here. Everyone gets ready upstairs instead of in a hotel across town, and nobody drives anywhere between the rehearsal and the ceremony. When the last guest leaves, you walk upstairs.

It also means one address on the invitation, one drive for out-of-town family, and no coordinating three venues across two days.

Ceremony spots

Say your vows where it suits you.

The rock patio is the main ceremony spot, and it is not the only one. A paved ceremony court faces the open field, and more settings are taking shape across the eighty acres.

The property

Half woods, half open ground, and a house looking over the valley.

Eighty acres off Highway 69, with the house set on the high ground, looking down a gently sloping valley.

The main room

A large open room on the first floor with several side rooms off it, for the ceremony, the reception, or both. Tables, chairs, pews and linens are included and set up for you.

The rock patio

A large rock patio directly off the first floor, open to the grounds. This is the main ceremony spot, then cocktail hour and dancing under the stars.

Upstairs

A den, a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a bunk room, with a balcony over the patio. Used as the getting-ready floor by day and, on weekend packages, as lodging by night.

The land

Forty-odd acres of pine and hardwood and forty of cleared ground, falling away below the house into a gentle valley. Room for portraits away from everything, and room to grow into larger outdoor events.

Packages

Four ways to book the house.

Every package includes tables, chairs, pews and linens, set up before you arrive. The bars below show which parts of the property each one opens.

Beyond weddings

The house works for anything you would rather not host at home.

Weekdays and Sundays are the easiest dates to get, and they price accordingly.

Graduation & birthdays

Family gatherings that outgrew the house, with a kitchen upstairs and a patio for the overflow.

Showers & luncheons

Bridal showers, baby showers and bridesmaid luncheons in the side rooms off the main floor.

Corporate & retreats

A weekday alternative to a conference room. Twenty minutes from Tuscaloosa, with room to spread out.

Reunions & anniversaries

Class and family reunions where out-of-town guests can stay on the property instead of scattering across hotels.
